Old Torrance: The historic heart of the city, Old Torrance offers a unique blend of old and new with its beautifully preserved 1920s buildings alongside modern eateries and shops. The area has a small-town feel with its local festivals and weekly farmers' market. Full of great restaurants, and a great mix of the historic and new. Very walkable.

Shery High School is an alternative school with113 students in grades 9-12 and a student-teacher ratio of 14 to 1.
