The TRW Tract: An area with curving tree lined streets and single family homes in the northeast corner of North Redondo Beach. Named after the iconic aerospace company, this neighborhood is known for its large lots, friendly neighborhoods, and quick access to Manhattan Beach and the freeways.
Golden Hills: Golden Hills is a residential neighborhood located in the northern part of Redondo Beach. It features a mix of single-family homes and townhouses, many of which offer views of the city and surrounding hillsides. Primarily single family homes, Golden Hills is known for neighborhood block parties and quick beach access!

Seaside Lagoon: A saltwater lagoon that doubles as a swimming pool, offering a safe, family-friendly swimming environment with lifeguards on duty.
Veterans Park: is a well-loved community space located just south of the Redondo Beach Pier on the Esplanade. This park offers a variety of amenities and features that make it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Also home to a meaningful veterans memorial, which honors the service and sacrifices of military veterans. This memorial is a focal point for the community, especially during commemorative events like Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies, which are held at the park.
Redondo Beach Historical Museum and Heritage Court: Heritage Court features two historical homes, the Queen Ann House, housing the Redondo Beach Historical Museum, and the Morrell House, a turn of the century combination of Victorian and Craftsman architecture. These homes preserve and celebrate the history of the city. The museum features exhibits, artifacts, and archives documenting Redondo Beach's rich maritime heritage, cultural diversity, and development over time.The Morrell House is fully furnished with period pieces and is open weekends to the public for tours.
Schools
Public Schools: Redondo Beach Unified School District
Elementary Schools: Alta Vista, Beryl Heights, Birney, Jefferson, Lincoln, Madison, Tulita, and Washington.
Middle Schools: Adams Middle School and Parras Middle School.
High Schools: Redondo Union High School is known for its strong academic performance and a variety of extracurricular programs. It ranks highly both in the state and nationally, reflecting its comprehensive educational offerings and commitment to student success. The school boasts a 97% graduation rate and provides a solid foundation for college readiness.
Preschools and Early Education Centers
Redondo Beach offers Preschool, Pre-K and before/after school programs at all eight elementary schools through the Child Development Center programs.
Alternative Education
The Alternative Education program in the Redondo Beach Unified School District, serves the Redondo Beach community. Patricia Dreizler High School (PDHS), a continuation high school, sits atop the hill overlooking the Redondo Union High School (RUHS) baseball field to the south and the main RUHS campus to the west. The Redondo Beach Learning Academy, a community day school (CDS) houses 9th-12th graders, is located on the South Bay Adult School campus in Redondo Beach. PDHS continues to be recognized as a California Model Continuation High School. The Independent Study Program (ISP) supports grades K-12 and is the only distance learning option in the Redondo Beach Unified School District.
Festivals & Events
Beach Life Festival: This outdoor annual 3 day festival in May, and features four stages with over 50 bands. It's celebrated for its mix of music, art, and culinary experiences right on the beach, providing a vibrant atmosphere for all ages. Ranch Life Festival is the country music version, taking place in September each year!
Springfest: An annual tradition for over 40 years, Springfest takes place outside at the Performing Arts Center is a carnival like event with games, rides, bands, beer and wine garden, food trucks and entertainment!
Summer of Music - Redondo Beach Pier: Free Summer concerts from July to August, on Thursdays and Saturdays from 6 - 8 PM.
Lobster Festival: A favorite annual event, traditionally held in September at the Seaside Lagoon, featuring delicious food, live music, and fun activities for all ages.
Riviera Village Summer Festival: Takes place every June, features over 300 exhibitors, offering arts and crafts, live music, a beer garden, and a carnival for children.
Fourth of July Fireworks: Spectacular fireworks display off the pier, with many locals and visitors gathering on the beach to watch.
